Schedule During Holidays
Monterey City Disposal Service Inc. always strives to keep the same collection schedule throughout the year. However, there are some holidays that require us to modify our schedule periodically throughout the year. Christmas, New Years, Thanksgiving and the 4th of July are all days that usually require us to modify our collection schedule if they fall on a weekday. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Note: Commercial customers and residential customers in a commercial area may not follow this schedule. Please call for your schedule.
fall and winter holidays
Thanksgiving, Christmas, & New Year's Day-
In observance of Thanksgiving, collection will be a day late for those customers whose normal collection day falls on or after Thanksgiving.
Christmas (2010) and New Year's Day (2011) fall on Saturdays, so residential services will not be affected.
spring and summer holidays
Memorial Day and Labor Day-
Memorial Day Normal collection, Labor Day collection schedule will be posted in the future...
